Recent Events

New York City Dance Competition

American Dancers and Jr. All American Dancers under the direction of Leslie Baumberger and Suzy Miller returned recently from NYC with top awards.

Tremaine Dance Competition “Catch the Fever” was held at the Grand Hyatt in Manhattan, NYC and the dancers from American Dance of SLO certainly did just that. Ten dances competed with other dancers from the east coast and each dance placed in the top of their categories.

Joe Tremaine, Director of Tremaine Dance said, “These dancers are well trained in both ballet and jazz , as well as being believable, professional performers. These are some of the best dancers we have seen all year. We are always excited when American Dance of SLO attends our convention because they always bring exciting and interesting choreography and we can’t wait to see what they bring next time.”
