Fall 2009 Social Dance Classes

Fall Social Dance Classes will begin September 2^nd at the studio.

Fall is a time for new starts and new schedules. It is also a great time to start those dance lessons you’ve been talking about taking.

The beginning class will be Foxtrot, which is the most foundational dance of all, and the easiest to get started with. For those engaged couples looking for some help for their first dance, Foxtrot is perfect. Toward the end of the four week session Teana will show you how to adapt your basic foxtrot into slow dancing.

You too can move beyond a one-step to become a much more interesting dancer!

Wednesday Nights September 2 – 23

6:35 – 7:30 PM – Intermediate West Coast Swing (with transitions from East Coast Swing) – Beginning West Coast Swing for Intermediate dancers
7:35 – 8:30 PM – Beginning Foxtrot

Cost: $44.00 for 4 Weeks, or $13.00 drop-in rate

Effective June 29, 2009 the schedule below reflects the changes until the end of July.

No class on July 4th – have a great holiday!

* Mon / Fri = Accel Ballet I and II @ 4:45
* Tues / Thurs = Accel Ballet III and IV @ 6:15 (No Mon/Wed Accel Ballet)
* Tues / Thurs = Pointe Intermediate and Adv @ 7:45 (No Mon/Wed Pointe)
* Saturday = Ballet Only
* Tues = No Cardio (in addition to Thursday)
* Mon = Accel Jazz 1 and II/III only @ 3:45
* Mon = Hip Hop 5:45 and 6:45 combined – only @ 5:45

August 2008 Schedule

The studio will be **closed** the weeks of July 28-Aug 3 and August 18-24.

Spring Break 2008 Hours

The studio will be closed Friday March 21, 22, and 23rd. Enjoy Easter weekend!

We will be resuming most classes the week of March 24 -29. Miss Leslie’s classes are canceled for the week, and Miss Terry’s ballet classes have shifted times to take advantage of that – see details (Word .doc). All other classes will remain the same.

Holiday Schedule

The studio will be closed for the holidays starting Saturday, December 22nd until January 6th. Classes will resume on **Monday, January 7th**.

New Social Dance Series

Beginning next week, there is the new line-up of Social Dances at American Dance of SLO.

We will be starting new beginning classes in Swing (East Coast) and Foxtrot. The Foxtrot class will include some slow dancing techniques so you can do more than the 1-step slow dance! This is a great
class for any beginner. Foxtrot is the most basic dances and is easy to learn.

All Series classes are 8 weeks.

Cost is $80 for 8 weeks, or $12 per class for drop-in.

* Tuesday 6:45pm – Beginning East-Coast Swing
* Tuesday 7:45pm – Beginning Foxtrot / Slow Dancing (learn how to adopt your Foxtrot moves to slow dancing)
* Thursday 8:30pm – Intermediate Class: We will be working on a combo Swing / Quickstep routine.
* Thursday 7:30pm – Private lessons available – please call Teana if you would like to set up a Private Lesson
